Abstract :
A once-through stream generator is a critical device in nuclear power plant, so its control requirement is high. A sliding mode fuzzy controller combines robust characteristic of variable structure controller with interpolation property of fuzzy logic controller. The control system is insensitive to burthen variety and outside disturbance because of the robustness property of variable structure, and fuzzy control which reduces the chattering of variable structure predigests the controller design. Since the mathematical model of a once-through stream generator is nonlinear, in this paper we adopt the design method of sliding mode fuzzy controller without its system model for a once-through stream generator. The simulation results illustrate that its control effect is very ideal.
