Abstract :
In this paper, the time-domain near-to-far-field (TD-NTFF) transformation in the discontinuous Galerkin finite-element time-domain (DG-FETD) framework is presented. A new scheme is proposed to accumulate the contribution of near fields to far-fields in the time domain. This scheme only uses electric and magnetic fields at the newest time step. It does not require the storage of the electromagnetic (EM) fields at previous time steps. Thus, this scheme is more advantageous to higher-order interpolation of far-fields.
