Abstract :
In this paper, deign technique of antenna needles and the associated power-monitoring system for developing a microwave ablation system is presented. Especially, the loading effect due to the bio-material is taken into account in designing the antennas. Cavity method is used to measure the bio-material parameters for design. An in vitro experiment has been carried out to verify the radiation efficiency of antenna and function properness of the whole system.
