Abstract :
In this paper, some three and four complexes of holmium have been synthesized. Using agar dilution method, the bacteriostasis activity of the holmium complexes against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis are measured and their minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) to the growth of bacterium have been determined. The result shows that their complexes of holmium have bacteriostasis activity to the bacterias tested and the complexes have the higher activity than the ligand.
