Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the parallel implementation of the trellises of linear block codes by using the squaring construction, which is a method for constructing long codes from a given partition of short codes. The trellis structure of this code is composed of several parallel sections and is more suitable for IC implementation than traditional trellis construction
