Abstract :
In order to break the traditional view of the online exhibition mode in E-Commerce, we propose a novel virtual interactive online exhibition architecture which combines Flash 3D technology, Flex 3 front-end technologies, and Ruby on Rails Server technology to present Rich Internet Applications (RIA). This architecture integrates a number of world´s leading digital media technology, including Away3D Flash engine, Adobe Flex 3 SDK and PureMVC framework for the development of front-end technology. WebORB platform provides an immersive exhibition with the immersive exhibition of the performances and exhibitions for the communication between the Flash Client and the Rails Server. Experiment results illustrate this architecture can effectively resolve the problem of traditional B/S online exhibition mode.
