Abstract :
A facial classification scheme which combines blackboard system and agent structure together is proposed to make up for the existing facial expression recognition systemspsila (FER) shortcomings, by which the designed FER has intelligent ability such as self-learning and self-definition abilities. This intelligent system consists of rule knowledge database and case knowledge database to improve its reasoning ability by combining rule-based reasoning and case-based reasoning. The architecture, the flow path and the mainly modulespsila structure of the intelligent facial expression recognition system (IFER) were demonstrated and the experiment results were presented and analyzed in detail in this paper.
