Abstract
The demands on control efficiency in automotive systems are enormous relating to the given hardware and software constraints. To meet these demands, a multirate control of direct drives in automotive systems is presented. This control structure shows very good results with simultaneously reducing the computational load of the control unit compared to a conventional PID control.
