            Abstract : 
Soil moisture forecast is the forecast of increment and depletion of field soil moisture based on oil water simulation models. It is the basis for irrigation forecasting and is important for the rational regulation of field water. This paper summarized the latest research and the main achievements on soil water monitor and irrigation forecast in China and abroad. The main method and principle were introduced. Each methodpsilas advantages and disadvantages were compared. An intelligent model was proposed in this paper. And itspsila development tendency was prospected.
