Abstract
Output regulation problem for sampled-data feedback systems is considered in a general setup. A necessary and sufficient condition is derived based on the state-space approach in the lifted domain. The results are applied to synthesis problems for servo systems based on H ∞ control. The validity is confirmed by an example of repetitive control
