Abstract
Supply chain management has emerged as a popular and useful concept in the construction industry and research community since the mid 1990s. Research in construction supply chain management draws from a broad range of disciplines. With the development of market economy in China, the competition in construction industry is becoming more and more severe. This paper mainly talks about the issue of logistics in construction. It presents the latest theories, research methods and models by analyzing a large number of research papers about international construction logistics field. The paper also analyzes the current state and its characteristics on construction logistics industry in China. In the end, the possible directions of further research are pointed.
