Abstract :
The software development life cycle stages (SDLCs) are to be juxtaposed in a balustrade. This means the preceding phase should be polestar for the current phase. Data Flow Diagram (DFD) was developed before the inception of vast majority of software platforms. The DFD was monolevel diagram. However, the recently developed Unified Modeling Language (UML) is the only diagramming language which posses multileveled diagrams. Though Class diagram is a higher level UML diagram, This also cannot serve as constellation to the lower level diagrams. Thus, the au-courant higher level diagrams viz. DFD and CD are precarious to ossify in SDLC stages as multilevel designs are not meeting the pantile property. This paper makes clairvoyant study of these two diagrams representing the same pragmatics and resuscitates equipollency of syntactics and semantics from the component of these diagrams. We design the appropriate semantics for ensuing usecase flow diagram through the establishment of equiponderance between equipollent superposed syntactics and pragmatics of lower level UML diagrams(usecase & sequence diagrams).
