Abstract :
This paper deals with an important problem of modern bus networks, which are based on the hub principle. It introduces a Modular Controlled Stochastic Petri Nets (MCSPN)-based approach in order to deal with public transportation connection systems. This modular approach aims at minimizing the number of states of the Markov chain. Then, the dynamic monitoring of connections can be based on the MCSPN. Analysis and controls of the connection are detailed. As a result, MCSPN-based approach could improve significantly the performances of the dealt public transportation system.
