Abstract :
We describe an approach to using network-centric policies to control admission in multi-network environments. This type of decision-making is highly relevant because a growing number of devices are dual-mode, and a growing number of geographic areas are covered by multiple communication technologies. Performing intelligent admission in these multi-network environments allows carriers to better utilize their existing assets, and can positively impact network resource efficiency by reducing blocking probabilities
