Abstract :
The overview of digital video broadcasting (DVB) standards is presented. Particular attention is devoted to standards for terrestrial broadcasting, DVB-T and the newest DVB-T2. The comparison between these standards is derived and the advantages of the DVB-T2 over DVB-T are emphasized.
