Abstract :
The terms grounding and bonding are referred to extensively in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and are often used interchangeably. These terms have resulted in much discussion and questions because they are often interrelated. Each, however, has a distinct function and needs to be understood separately in order to correctly apply equipment in the most beneficial manner.
