Abstract
In this paper, a speech enhancement algorithm based on microphone array which features the interaction between adaptive beamforming and multi-channel postfilter is proposed.A subband feedback controller based on speech presence probability is applied to Generalized Sidelobe Canceller algorithm to obtain a more robust adaptive filter in adverse environment and alleviate the problem of signal cancellation in adaptive beamformer. A multi-channel postfilter is used not only to further suppress diffused noise and interferences, but also to give the speech presence probability information in each subband. This approach achieves considerable improvement on noise reduction and subjective quality of the desired speech compared with Griffiths-Jim beamformer with Weiner postfilter. Experiments confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
