            Abstract :
Based on the average Reynolds equation, this paper studied the friction and lubrication of piston skirt-cylinder and piston ring-cylinder. Combined with the piston secondary motion equation, an coupling model of cylinder - piston - piston ring oil film lubrication system is presented. The model considered the effects of piston ring lubrication characteristic on piston secondary motion and the effects of piston skirt waviness on piston lubrication. The coupling analysis results of the dynamics and tribology of piston-cylinder sleeve system, compared including the effects of piston ring lubrication characteristic with leaving out them, show that the piston secondary motion is changed obviously with considering the effects of piston ring lubrication characteristic. So, carrying out the coupling analysis of dynamics and tribology of piston system, it is necessary to consider this influence factor.
