Study on the Method for Improving the Consistency of Linguistic Judgment Matrix

With respect to the problem of improving the consistency of linguistic judgment matrix, a new method for improving the consistency of linguistic judgment matrix is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the linguistic judgment matrix is transformed into reciprocal matrix. Secondly, a method for improving the consistency of reciprocal matrix is constructed according to the exiting results. Secondly, the complete consistent reciprocal matrix and a deviation matrix are constructed based on the information in reciprocal matrix. Thirdly, an algorithm is given which gradually improves the consistency in linguistic judgment matrix through comparing and analyzing the deviation matrix, and by this way, the complete consistency or satisfied consistency judgment matrix can be obtained based on the demand in the end.
