Abstract
This paper presents the use of an object-oriented environment for design, analysis and teaching of power electronic circuits which may be implemented in tutorial sessions. The main advantages of this approach are: its ease of use, its interactive nature and user-friendliness. The paper describes part of an on-going research project on the design of software tools for power electronic circuits for PC platforms
