Abstract
To cancel single cell interference with multiuser detector (MUD) effectively, we have to reduce adjacent cell interference (ACI) first. To reduce ACI, we define new codes with interference reduction window (IRW) and assign even codes to one cell and odd codes to the neighboring cells. We apply perturbation and equalization methods for MUD, and investigate the effects of IRW and delay spread on bit error rate (BER) in band limited fading channels.
