  • Abstract
    A fuzzy expert system is built to help designers design, simulate and optimize power converters. Based on the design specifications given by the designer, fuzzy logic technique is applied to consider the uncertainty involved and to select an optimum converter topology. Then the converter is simulated and optimized to achieve the required specifications, so as to reduce the design time and cost. The features and implementation of the expert system are described
