Abstract :
A section of nonreciprocal ferrite phase shifter based on the waveguide with nonuniform cross-section was analyzed by means of the perturbation method. Basic fields are calculated with finite difference frequency domain method for the structure filled with dielectric toroid. The toroid´s nonuniform magnetic permeability was accurately approximated by locally uniform sections. Calculated nonreciprocal phase shifts correspond to the measured ones
