Abstract :
This paper presents a wavelet neural networks rotor speed estimation scheme for direct torque control (DTC) of induction machine. Simulated models are constructed using Matlab/Simulink to analyze the application on the DTC, which is trained to follow the relationship between the stator and rotor speed. Simulation results reveal that the presented method is effective for rotor speed estimation.
