Abstract :
A stable algorithm for adaptive digital IIR filters is proposed. Theoretically, with this algorithm the global minimum of the mean square error surface can always be found provided that the filter size is sufficient. A practically applicable variation of this algorithm is also given, and simulations show that the algorithm performs very well even in the presence of system noise (-40 dB).<>
