Abstract
The problem that large amount of spectrum resource remains unused has increasingly attracted attention of researchers. Spectrum sharing is a viable way to remedy the problem. In this paper, a spectrum sharing scheme is proposed, in which there is one primary user (licensed user) and multiple secondary users (unlicensed users) who intend to share a frequency spectrum with the licensed user. An analysis model is constructed to derive the statistics of the proposed scheme, such as mean number of radio bands used by secondary users, deprivation rate of the second users, blocking rate of the second users, and utilization ratio of spectrum. Numeric experiments are given to investigate impacts of various parameters on the derived statistics of the proposed scheme.
