Abstract
An automatic control reconfiguration scheme is developed based on multiple model approach for plants with unknown actuator faults. Under the designed adaptive controllers, the plant output tracks a given reference output asymptotically, despite the uncertainties in actuator failures. The stability of overall systems is proved, and numerical simulations are performed using an aircraft model to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
