Abstract :
This paper presents the application of the parameter intervals based fault isolation and identification approach in fault tolerant control system for nonlinear dynamic systems. Because the intervals based fault isolation and identification approach can provide the estimation of the faulty parameter in a very fast manner, the fault tolerant control procedure can reconfigure the controller very early after the fault occurrence. The satisfying performance of the method is illustrated by the simulation results for a nonlinear dynamic system.
