Abstract
A new scheme of adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems is presented, which is by incorporating adaptive model tracking control with fuzzy sliding mode control. It cannot only provide the instantaneous response characteristics of tracking error, make system have good control property and strong robustness against parameter variations and external disturbance, but also eliminate the chattering of conventional sliding mode control. The simulation results show the correctness of this scheme.
