  • Abstract
    This paper presents the study and realization of a semi-automatic measurement system for the evaluation of the swallowing parameters through the processing of biomedical images, coming from videofluoroscopy. The system has been realized as a software system, developed in JAVA language by means of the ImageJ image processing library. The proposed system is able to measure the OTT (Oral Transit Time), the PTT (Pharyngeal Transit Time) as well as to estimate the displacement of the hyoid bone.
