Abstract :
In this paper, fabrication of a microdispensing device is demonstrated using stacked micromolding methods and liquid phase photopolymerization. By coupling a volume change of a pH responsive acrylic-acid hydroxymethacrylate (AA-HEMA) copolymer, pressure is generated to effectively empty a reservoir. The device reliably generated a pressure of 3500 N/m2 with a stroke volume of 32.7 μL.
