Abstract :
Multi-address interference (MAI) degrades the CDMA system performance significantly. In this work we discuss multi-address interference effect on parallel acquisition performance of a multi-carrier CDMA system under a typical indoor radio channel. Moreover, a comparison of acquisition performance impairment produced by the MAI of a multi-carrier CDMA and single carrier CDMA is also made. Results are given in terms of average acquisition time obtained by means of simulations and analytical computations
