Abstract :
The design and implementation of an analog CMOS complex filter for ZigBee using IEEE 802.15.4 standard in SMIC 180nm technology is described. This fourth-order complex Butterworth filter bases upon transconductor-capacitor (Gm-C) structure, it has a bandwidth of 3 MHz and center frequency of 2 MHz. The filter provides 50dB image rejection and comsumes very low power which can meet the requirements of the IEEE 802.15.4 standard. The core of the filter consumes 0.6mA current with supply voltage of 1.8V, and the core area is only 0.7×0.3 mm2.
