Abstract :
A new type of multi-beam coaxial disk-loaded waveguide slow-wave structure was presented in this paper. The wave properties including dispersion characteristics and interaction impedance of this structure are calculated. The changing of the dispersion and coupling impedance curves following several different parameters have been analyzed. It is feasible to design and select proper parameters of multi-beam coaxial disk-loaded slow-wave structure. The results of numerical simulation show the new slow-wave structure can be used in traveling wave tube with high power.
