Abstract :
An engineered approach which uses the collective wisdom of the Clinical Engineering profession has been applied at the grass-roots level successfully in the Northwest Territories of Canada. The success or this approach has allowed this technology management model to be expanded to provide leadership and support at the policy/bureaucratic level of the Department of Health and Social Services.
