Abstract :
The State of Clinical Engineering in China of the many changes that are taking place in China today, perhaps the one that impact most is the evolution of the healthcare delivery system. As part of this evolution, recognition for the role of medical technology as part of the delivery system is growing and thus the need for engineering professionals. The practice of Clinical Engineering in China is developing along the development of professional association, the development of individual skills, the development of hospital-based departments and the development of a work model for these departments.
