Abstract :
Equilateral triangular patch resonator with fractal-shaped defection is developed, and its resonant performance is calculated and analyzed, and single patch fractal bandpass filter is designed as well. With the assistance of fractal and a higher substrate permittivity, the equilateral triangular resonator can be miniaturization and has advantage of harmonic suppression, and resonance of the resonator higher order modes are enhanced, simultaneously, filter performance is greatly improved.
