Abstract :
Evoked magnetic and electric fields are contaminated with correlated background noise. When performing statistical tests or applying source localization on the basis of these signals the correlation of the background noise should be accounted for. Due to the large amounts of data this is not straightforward and mathematical models are needed describing the noise. In this paper such a model is derived.
