Abstract :
A novel switched capacitor non-linear function synthesizer is presented. The circuit is based on an iterative procedure implementing a piecewise linear (PWL) approximation. The main advantage is that complexity is almost independent of the number of linear pieces. An example of linearizing circuit for capacitive pressure sensor, designed using 0.35 mum - 3.3 V CMOS devices from the BCD6 STMicroelectronics process is described
