Abstract :
Radar high resolution range profile (HRRP) plays an important role in radar target recognition. There are lots of recognized methods using HRRP, most of them use the amplitude information for radar target recognition, while the phase information is ignored. In fact, during the recognized processing, the phase information has great advantages to recognition. This paper gives a new method based on the relative phase information. The relative phase is extracted from the target echo by data mining technique. In the recognition experiment, the simulated data of rotation model is used to confirm the feasibility of this new method. At the end, we conclude that this method can eliminate the initial phase sensitivity when the target has little translation.
