Abstract :
A novel wideband planar fractal antenna is proposed. It is formed by the modified Sierpinski-carpet fractal with the 50 Ω micro-strip. Good input return loss performance is seen over a 2 to 4.5 GHz bandwidth, and acceptable patterns are seen over frequency range whose return loss is smaller than -10 dB.
