Abstract :
This paper investigates eigenbeamforming with a uniform circular array at the BTS. The geometrical-based channel model with hyperbolically-distributed scatterers (GBHDS) is used to simulate the multipath environment. Simulation results showed that using a UCA significantly improves the CDMA system´s performance, outperforming the system using a ULA
