Title :
Approximating non-linear parameter estimators

Abstract :
Many signal processing problems are inherently parameter estimation problems. Such estimators are seldom easy to analytically determine and even if they are found, can be very complicated to compute. The author presents a method to approximate the estimator by a general, easily-computable family of functions. This technique is applied to a multipath height-finding problem in radar
