Abstract :
This paper highlights the performance of a hybrid antenna, consisting of an annular dielectric resonator antenna combined with a quarter-wave monopole as electromagnetic interference (EMI) sensor. The complex antenna factor of this hybrid antenna for the desired frequency range is presented here. The dielectric loading appreciably increases the operating bandwidth of a simple monopole antenna when used as EMI sensor.
