Abstract :
In this paper we discuss some of the theory behind the trispectrum and look at the methods used to display it. The trispectrum is normalised to form the tricoherence and the use of the tricoherence in detecting quadratic and cubic phase coupling is shown. Finally, an application of the trispectrum in detecting gas bubbles in water is discussed
