Abstract :
A narrowband experimental study on millimeter-wave (Ka-band) indoor propagation is presented. Based on the data measured in a typical office/laboratory environment, it is found that the path loss is similar to that of free space propagation, with exponent of 2 regardless of what kind of antenna has been used. The cumulative distribution of slow fading agrees with the log-normal distribution while that of fast fading agrees with the Rayleigh distribution in NLOS cases or with the Rician distribution in LOS cases
