Abstract :
We consider the problem of broadcasting independent sources in a dense wireless network. We propose a fully decentralized scheme with minimal overhead that uses physical layer cooperative transmission with decode and forward relaying. We characterize the propagation of the source flows across the network and show that in the limit of an infinitely dense network, the relaying proceeds in levels. We verify our results numerically and explore the delay-reliability tradeoff and the performance in terms of the per node outage probability through simulations.
