Abstract :
This paper describes a new design for an equalizer to be used in a modem. The channel parameter is abstracted first from the information; the equalizer is then designed in the concept of an inverse filter. The author explores the design for the minimum square inverse filter equalizer and the time window function equalizer. Simulation experiments are made separately for three kinds of equalizer and compared results are given
