Abstract
Novel highly efficient algorithm for the solution of 2-D problems of the wave scattering from homogeneous dielectric cylinders of arbitrary cross-sections is presented and its applications to simulate optical waveguide components based on dielectric resonators (DR´s) are discussed. The algorithm developed is based on the concept of analytical regularization (semi-inversion) of the singular integral operators
