Abstract
The coordinate definition of the subscribers in communication systems of mobile satellite service (MSS) with widely used transparent signal relaying is possible in several ways. Among them is an obvious process to use in GPS/GLONASS technology, direct measurements of the slant range user station up to the satellite, application of reference (checkpoint) Earth sites in combination with range measurements or Doppler methods etc. It is essential that the legal user´s terminal of the communication system service, as the regular components of a MSS system, one way or the other participates in procedures of its coordinate-definition, that sharply simplifies their process engineering, raises accuracy and ensures a wholesale (large-scale) queuing service for the subscribers
